The ISFIN Institute is dedicated to research and training in several key areas related to nuclear technologies: instrumentation for large-scale nuclear facilities, characterization of materials and structures, and fusion science.

The AMUtech Institute aims to foster and coordinate expertise in materials science and nanotechnology within Aix-Marseille University by promoting collaboration among research units, pooling scientific resources, and making state-of-the-art equipment available for training programs in the field.

In this context, this call for projects aims to strengthen scientific interactions between the research communities of the two institutes around materials and technologies for the nuclear sector.

This call serves as an incentive mechanism designed to encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration between teams, the sharing of best practices, and the use of the site’s exceptional equipment. It does not replace the individual calls for projects issued by each institute but complements these initiatives.
