AMUtech Thematic Day - October 6, 2026
The AMUtech Institute is organizing, with Guy Tréglia, a new thematic day dedicated to data science and artificial intelligence applied to materials science.
Researchers, faculty members, and digital infrastructure experts will share their experiences, practices, and questions regarding the use of AI in research and education: data sharing and processing, generative AI, machine learning, modeling, simulation, and image analysis.
The event will also provide an opportunity to discuss the opportunities, limitations, and precautions associated with these new tools, drawing on concrete examples developed within various scientific communities. It will conclude with a general discussion focused on future prospects.
The program consists of three main sessions:
- Data Science and AI: Sociology and everyday practice
- Data Science and AI: What role does amU play?
- Machine Learning: Principles and local applications
